After Weekend Gator, Gregory founded Phone Nurses in Miami, Florida. Phone Nurses focused on purchasing old cellular telephones, refurbishing them, and shipping them overseas to new users. The company did business throughout Florida and across the country into San Francisco. Gregory’s inspiration for this company came as he traveled around the country and responded to Craigslist ads from people in need of cell phone repair. This provided Gregory with a way to help pay for his trips and make new friends along the way. After almost two years, Gregory’s hunger for another venture led him to San Francisco, California.

In San Francisco, Gregory Gopman founded and performed as CEO of AngelHack. AngelHack is the largest hackathon organizer in the world where top teams were awarded with cash prizes as well as an offer to be a part of an accelerator program. AngelHack was founded on the idea of providing better service and attention to hackers. There was a very prominent niche for the company as hackathons up until this point had been run by corporations that purely wanted to test their products. There was a real need for a change and thus a community of better catered to hackers was created. The hackathons were much more fun and provided a new and exciting environment for those involved. They began in San Francisco and eventually spread to the east coast. The second hackathon occurred in Boston, Massachusetts which really opened the door to the company’s possibilities. While in Boston, Gregory truly understood how to network within the emerging startup community. Through networking and meeting with startups, AngelHack received sponsorships and major attention. Eventually big corporations hired AngelHack to run their hackathons in about 50 cities nationwide. Companies like Hewlett-Packard and Hearst Corporation were just some of the clients. After about two and a half years Gregory set his mind to developing another company, Stealth. Gregory plans to develop a mobile app that will unite the world and make it a better place.

Through the world of startup connections and networking Gregory Gopman was traveling every month around the country and even internationally to about 40 countries. During this time Gregory developed skills that enabled him to travel better and smarter. He traveled to Thailand, which was his first time in Asia, under the umbrella of a company called Startup Workaway. Startup Workaway allows entrepreneurs to travel abroad and live in a mansion with other startup founders and work on their respective companies together. It provides a creative atmosphere where like minded people work together and form valuable connections. From Thailand Gregory traveled to Singapore and China. Gregory plans to travel more throughout his life for both business and pleasure all while networking and making new connections.
